Sweet Ruth has spent her young life facing an incredibly complex medical journey. Born prematurely at 34 weeks with a serious medical condition, Ruth has spent more than six months in the hospital, requiring extensive breathing support, undergoing multiple surgeries, and receiving a tracheostomy as her care team has navigated an exceptionally challenging course of treatment. Most recently, Ruth underwent a groundbreaking surgery—the first of its kind—and is now recovering as her family celebrates this important step forward. Through every procedure, setback, and uncertain day, Ruth’s joyful spirit continues to shine; her mom shared with us that even after everything she has been through, Ruth still smiles. After more than six months of having a child in the hospital, the emotional, practical, and financial burdens on Ruth’s family have been immense. Daniel’s Dreams was honored to come alongside them during this difficult season, providing financial assistance to help ease some of the burdens outside of the hospital so her family can focus on what matters most: being there for their little girl.
