Everett’s Story
Everett was born at just 27 weeks, weighing only 1 pound, 4 ounces. Since his early arrival, he has spent the first five months of his life in the hospital, bravely navigating significant medical challenges and growing stronger each day.
Recently, Everett received a tracheostomy and G-tube, an important step toward eventually bringing him home. His parents are now learning how to care for his medical needs while continuing to be by his side through a hospital journey that has been much longer than they ever imagined.
With Everett’s mom having stepped away from much of her work to care for him, the extended hospitalization has also brought unexpected challenges for their family. Daniel’s Dreams is honored to come alongside them during this season and help ease some of that burden.
